I painted and framed this simple piece in march of 2011 , also on a 12" x 16" flat canvas.
Chess Board
We'll call this 20" X 28" piece of art a "functional wall-hanging". And I know it's functional, because a friend and I tried it out, and it worked just fine. (although I did lose the first game)
