Parcheesi Board

Image
My first wife loved to play Parcheesi..  Sometime in 2002 ( ? ) , I painted her this gameboard , and it served her well. She and I (and / or the kids) played many times on it.  after she left us in 2003, it was hung on the wall among her dolls in the up-stairs hall.  In February of this year, I took it down and completely restored it. It now hangs on display in my gallery, as a functional piece of art.

Girl With A Bolero

Image
 I painted this 16" x 20" acrylic in February of 2008.

halloween

Image
This haunting piece was quite literally brought back from the dead. I've recently traveled to Rome , New York, to say "good bye" to my mother (for the last time)... This piece was found among the piles of nick-nacks and doo-dads she'd collected over 70 or so years.  Broken in 2 or 3 places and covered with a blanket of dust, I brought it home and cleaned and repaired it.  I had marked it 1996, which brought about two points of interest...1: I created this piece while staying in San Diego, before moveing to live permanently into Pixley House.....and 2: It was made nearly a decade before this type of artwork was part of my repertoire.   This piece is on a 12" x 12" base and stands 14" high.

Elf House

Image
I created ELF HOUSE in March of 2007.  It is 28" wide, 15" deep and stands 17" high.

The Girl In The Woods

Image
Framed very much the same, this 20" x 24" acrylic is a "sequel" to  THE BOY IN THE WOODS.   This piece was painted in February of 2011.   (see older posts)

Untitled

Image
This 24" x 30" acrylic is still my personel favorite angel picture, (that I did) Ironicly, I never titled it , framed it, or even dated it.  I believe I painted this piece sometime in 2001. (give or take a year).
